Equisys automates the capture and filing of documents for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Equisys is a producer of software packages for document production and delivery which includes Zetafax®, a network fax server, and Zetadocs® PDF software which creates and emails personalized documents.  Recently Equisys announced changes to its Software developer Kit (SDK) for Zetadocs for NAV.

Through the use of the SDK, Microsoft Partners can expand the Microsoft Dynamics NAV for their customers to allow automated capture and filing of confidential business documents which will automatically trigger an on screen approval process.

Zetadocs not only captures received emails, faxes and other paper documents to Microsoft SharePoint but it automatically connects them into Microsoft Dynamics NAV through the use of bar codes or Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Now NAV and non-NAV users can view the supporting paperwork for transactions in NAV which will save time for the approval process, result in a simpler audit, improved customer service and stronger compliance.

With this SDK enhancement, time and efficiency savings will produce compelling returns on investments versus the past traditional paper based process. Chris Oswald, CEO of Equisys, stated “It’s now even easier for mid-sized companies using Microsoft ERP software to benefit from the same efficiency savings as larger corporations by moving paper-based processes on screen”.
